The fourteenth daily prompt comes from my notebook. I was flicking through it this morning and realised that in amongst the jottings and fragmented sentences there were at least four plot developments I could use – not all at once – but over this week I’ll use them to develop scenes, characters, drop in a plot twist and add a sub-plot.
I find it both inspiring and hugely satisfying to read other writers’ notebooks and find in their scribbles similar anxieties about writing as well as daft words and ideas.
